Hi. My name is Joshua McGinnis and I’ve been a Web Developer at Intuit, Inc. since December 2007 in Waltham, Massachusetts. I currently manage design, development and infrastructure for the Intuit QuickBase marketing website.
Before Intuit, I got my start in the tech world by doing everything from technical support to online marketing to business development at a start-up web hosting company known as PowWeb. Formerly based in West Los Angeles, PowWeb was bought up by Boston-based Endurance International Group where I, along with the business, were relocated to Massachusetts.
I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the smartest people in the internet industry, including Scott Cook, founder of Intuit and innovation expert. It wasn’t until I started work at Intuit that I really got to flex my creative muscles.

- Intuit IdeaJam 12/08 – 1st One Day Sprint, Intuit Product Aggregation and Recommendation Engine
- Intuit IdeaJam 09/08 – 3rd Place, ekibot
- Intuit IdeaJam 07/08 – 1st Place, Intuit Checkout
- Intuit IdeaJam 06/08 – 1st Place, WiiFlex
- Multiple spotlight awards for outstanding performance
Outside of Work
Outside of work, I love playing guitar, singing, mycology (growing shiitake mushrooms), tinkering with my Arduino, dreaming up new business ideas, reading Make Magazine, riding my bike and school.
I have a beautiful daughter, Felicity and I am married to the woman of my dreams, Catherine.
